Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, starting with NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of Space Tourism. Kristin is the daughter of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the corona virus pandemic, in addition to two distinct administrations' efforts. The extensive trips she took with the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on together with Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to being hired by the CBS network. She won the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS affiliate's one-man band reporter. Kristin's camera skills led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate customers like Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
